TEFL Certification Courses
BridgeTEFL offers four different world-class teacher certification programs. Graduates of all of our programs are trained in the latest methodologies and coached in the skills necessary to teach English effectively in any country in the world.
 CELTA
The University of Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) is the most widely recognized teacher preparation program in the world. The 140-hour, 4-week standardized course is offered only at Cambridge-approved training centers worldwide, including our center in Denver, CO. The CELTA program includes classroom instruction covering the fundamentals of EFL/ESL, observation of professional teachers, and practice teaching sessions with real language learners.
TEFL
The BridgeTEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) program is a 4-week, 140-hour rigorous certification course similar in duration, content, and format to the CELTA. The BridgeTEFL certificate is offered at our training centers around the world, including Asia, Latin America, Europe and the US. The TEFL also covers the basics of teaching EFL/ESL, observation of professional teachers, and practice teaching sessions with real language learners.
Accelerated TEFL
BridgeTEFL's intensive 140-hour Accelerated TEFL certificate program is designed for those who want a comprehensive training program in half the time of standard courses. This program covers the same core material as the 4-week BridgeTEFL, but with less time in the classroom. The Accelerated TEFL consists of our 80-hour TEFL Online Diploma followed by two weeks of real-world classroom instruction and experience at our training centers worldwide.
TEFL Online
The TEFL Online course covers the same basic material as our other teacher training programs, but it can be done from your own home and at your own pace. It takes approximately 60 hours to finish the program, which is typically completed over the course of six to eight weeks. TEFL Online modules include study material, video tutorials, review quizzes, and written assignments—all under the guidance of your own personal tutor.
