Scott Beckman
Travel Advisor
Scott graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with a degree in International Studies with minors in Political Science and Economics. A certified scuba diver and traveling aficionado, he has spent time in Italy, Canada, Belize, Mexico, and the Caribbean. He studied Spanish for many years and is now learning Hindi. As a Bridge Travel Advisor, Scott is able to share his passion for experiencing other cultures with Bridge’s future English teachers.
Matthew Clark
BridgeTEFL Jobs Advisor
Matt received his B.A. in English Literature from Wichita State University in Kansas, where he also played for the men’s basketball team. In 2006 he joined the Peace Corps with his wife and spent 26 months living and teaching English in Ukraine. During his travels in Eastern and Western Europe he developed a passion for other cultures and languages. He possesses an advanced knowledge of Russian and hopes to learn Spanish.
Willow Pergl
Bookings Advisor
Willow graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in History. She grew up overseas in the Philippines, Tunisia, South Africa, and France and has travelled extensively throughout Asia, Africa, and Western Europe. Willow spent time in Ghana working in the visa department of the U.S. Consulate before returning to her home base in northern Virginia where she worked in the public school system for six years. Willow speaks French and enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures.
Jennifer Collis
Program Advisor
Jennifer is from Tampa and graduated from the University of South Florida with bachelor’s degrees in English and psychology. After some time working in the field of social work, she gave in to wanderlust and became TEFL certified, going on to teach in Costa Rica and Morocco. She also enjoys volunteering, and has worked with high school students in San Francisco, foster kids in Costa Rica, and rescue donkeys in Spain.
