Overview of the Program
The ESL market in Hungary is booming, in both the public and private sectors. Hungary has experienced an increased need for local business people and professionals to learn English since its admission to the European Union in 2004. In the capital city of Budapest, there are over 100 private language schools, a number which continues to grow. Also growing is the competition for teaching positions, as the city becomes a more and more popular place to teach English. EFL teachers in Hungary can enjoy good working conditions and a comfortable standard of living—making Hungary an appealing country to teach English.
About the Teaching Assignment
Participants in the Teach in Hungary Internship will provide English instruction to clients in a business setting. On average, teachers will have approximately 20 classes per week at locations throughout Budapest. A travel stipend is included for classes taught outside of the home institute. With the 120–Hour TEFL Online Master Diploma (completed before the program), assistance securing accommodation, a complete program orientation upon arrival, and in–country support throughout the program, the Teach in Hungary Internship is an ideal way to launch or advance a TEFL career in one of the most fascinating countries in Europe.
